The Jatiya Jubo Jote, the youth wing of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSaD), has demanded the “unconditional” release of party President Hasanul Haq Inu.

The rally was held at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue.

Speaking at the event, JaSad Joint General Secretary Muhammad Mohsin called Inu’s detention "illegal”, according to a statement issued after the event.

He called for an immediate end to what he described as an unlawful legal process and demanded his leader’s "unconditional release".

Shariful Kabir Swapon, president of the Jatiya Jubo Jote, invoked the historical significance of the month of March in his address.

"It is a tragedy of history that one of the national heroes of 'fiery March' Hasanul Haq Inu is now facing a 'judicial killing' through an illegal trial under the control of Razakar and Al-Badr," Swapon said.
