Hadi shooting: Philip implicated in facilitating Faisal’s illegal border crossing

Two suspects arrested at the border claim that when contacted, Philip told them the “work had been done”

Suspects arrested at the border have alleged in court that a man identified only as Philip facilitated the illegal crossing of Faisal Karim Masud and another individual, both prime suspects in the attempted murder of Inqilab Moncho Convenor Sharif Osman bin Hadi.

The claim was made on Thursday during a remand hearing before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam in Dhaka by Sibyan Diu and Sanjay Chism.

The pair were detained on Monday evening by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and produced in court, where the investigation team, led by Detective Branch Inspector Faisal Ahmed, sought seven-day remand for questioning.
