Supreme Court issues public notice for recruitment of 20 High Court judges

Applicants have been asked to submit forms by Dec 15

The Supreme Court has issued a public notice to recruit 20 judges for the High Court Division.

On Wednesday, a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Appointment Council was held at the Judges’ Lounge to finalise the recruitment process.

The council decided to invite applications in a prescribed form for appointment to the post of additional judge.

Interested candidates must follow the Supreme Judicial Appointment Ordinance, 2025, submitting required information and a passport-size photograph.

Applications can be sent by post or delivered directly to the registrar general’s office by Dec 15.

On Aug 25, the first recruitment through the council appointed 25 additional judges to the High Court Division.

The Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered their oath on Aug 26.
