Its spokesperson Shakil Meraj said the move was due to crisis of passengers.
The national flag carrier has so far cancelled 19 flights this year due to shortage of passengers since it started ferrying pilgrims on July 24.
More than 7,000 pilgrims could have gone to Saudi Arabia in those cancelled flights.
As many as 127, 198 Bangladeshis are expected to perform the annual Muslim pilgrimage this year.
Complications in securing visas for pilgrims this year has led to shortage of passengers. The situation was further worsened by the Saudi authorities’ sudden move to impose an additional 2,000 riyals for pilgrims, who performed Hajj in the last two years, which came alongside a hike in the fees for Muallems or guides in Saudi Arabia.
