Hindu Mohajote’s Gobinda to contest Gopalganj-3, Hasina’s former constituency

He has collected nomination papers as an independent candidate

Gobinda Chandra Pramanik, secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote, is running for the Gopalganj-3 seat (Kotalipara-Tungipara), a constituency previously held by ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

On Wednesday afternoon, Gobinda, accompanied by the organisations leaders, visited the Gopalganj district returning officer’s office. He later collected the nomination form as an independent candidate.
