BNP must unite with Jamaat to reform the country, spokesperson says

An organisation named Inqilab Moncho has urged the BNP not to align with India and the “Shahbaghis”.
The term "Shahbaghi" is associated with the Shahbagh movement, which began in February 2013, when activists gathered in Dhaka's Shahbagh to demand the death penalty for war criminals from the 1971 Liberation War.
At a press conference at the University of Dhaka on Monday, the organisation’s spokesperson Sharif Osman bin Hadi said: “BNP should not have any hopes of aligning with India to come to power.
"The Awami League has fled to India, but BNP has no place there either.
“I request you not to side with the Shahbaghis and stand against the people.”
Inqilab Moncho called the press conference in front of Madhu’s Canteen “to protest the conspiracy to invalidate the July Bangladesh by creating extreme insecurity among the people”, where it also demanded the resignation of the home advisor, alleging “incompetence”.
Hadi said, “We recently wanted to hand red bangles to the home advisor. We have no idea what it would take for him to step down.
“He is an incompetent person. He has neither the courage nor the ability to implement any decision while holding this position.
“Even the murderous Awami League ministers can visit the court as if on a picnic, laughing and enjoying themselves.
“Meanwhile, those who staged the uprising live in fear. This is not just the responsibility of the home advisor but of every advisor.”
Hadi also criticised the circular issued by the government past Sunday declaring Feb 25 as “National Martyred Soldiers Day”.
“National Martyred Soldiers Day has been included in the 'C' category, which has reduced its importance. This day should be included in the 'A' category."
Criticising Law Advisor Asif Nazrul, Hadi said: “How can Asif Nazrul release terrorists who are under Interpol's red alert?
“Why have the false cases against many involved in the July Movement not been withdrawn?
“The law advisor must clarify his true intentions to the nation. Don't create a situation where the people stand against Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus.
“None of the six reform committees that have been formed can be implemented without BNP's consent.
“BNP must come to an agreement with Jamaat-e-Islami and work to reform the country. Otherwise, this uprising will fail.”
