The day Sheikh Hasina’s reign came to an end

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government in the 2024 uprising, streams of people poured into the streets of Dhaka. Crowds of students and members of the public erupted in joy after taking over Ganabhaban, the parliament building, and the Prime Minister’s Office.
