Four government departments, including the Land Records and Surveys Department, have been assigned new directors general (DGs).
The appointments were made through three separate notifications issued on Monday.
ATM Siddiqur Rahman, an additional secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Division, has been promoted to Grade-1 rank. Under the same order, he has been attached to the Ministry of Public Administration.
Land Records and Surveys Department has been assigned a new director general, with Mahmud Hasan, chairman of the Land Appeal Board, appointed to the post. He had earlier been under a transfer order as chairman of the National Housing Authority.
The post of director general of the Hydrocarbon Unit under the Energy and Mineral Resources Division has been given to AKM Wali Ullah, who had been serving as director general of the Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogura.
Rural Development Academy has also received a new director general, with ABM Mahbub Alam appointed to the position. He was previously associated with the National Academy for Development Administration.
Directorate of DNA Laboratory Management has appointed AFM Alauddin Khan, an additional secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, as its new director general.
