Three workers die, two injured as wall collapses in Netrokona

Police say the wall collapsed during a demolition attempt of the old BADC building

Three workers have died when a wall collapsed at the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) irrigation unit in Netrokona, injuring two others.

The incident occurred around 4:30pm on Thursday, while the workers were demolishing the old BADC office building, said Kazi Shah Newaz, chief of Netrokona Model Police Station.

Police have not yet identified the victims.

The two injured were taken to Netrokona Sadar Hospital for treatment.
