Dhaka tribunal sets Jun 1 for hearing charges in ‘rape, murder’ of Ramisa

The Children Violence Suppression Tribunal fixed the date after accepting the chargesheet

A Dhaka court has set Jun 1 for the hearing on charges against Sohel Rana and his wife Swapna Akhter in the alleged rape and murder of 8-year-old Ramisa Akter.

Bench Assistant Pankaj Peter Gomez said Judge Masrur Salekin of the Dhaka Metropolitan Children Violence Suppression Tribunal fixed the date on Sunday after accepting the chargesheet against the couple.
