Aviation security members have seized a large amount of medicines from the luggage of a passenger at Shahjalal International Airport while he was traveling from Dhaka to Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur.

The airport authorities announced the seizure of medicines during a search at the airport’s heavy baggage gate No. 5 on Monday.

Without disclosing details, authorities said the passenger was scheduled to travel from Dhaka to Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airlines flight MH-103.

They also withheld information about the purpose or destination of the medicines.
