Slain journalist Tuhin buried in Mymensingh

Journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin, who was hacked to death in Gazipur, has been laid to rest in his village in Mymensingh.

The burial took place at 7:30pm on Friday at the family graveyard in Fulbaria Upazila, following a funeral prayer held at his home.

Tuhin was attacked and killed by a group of armed assailants on Thursday night near Chandna Chowrasta in Gazipur. He had been hacked and his throat was slit.

Following a post-mortem at Gazipur’s Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital on Friday, police handed over the body to his family.

Tuhin is survived by his wife Mukta Akter and two sons.
