2 die as vehicle rams motorcycle in Tangail

The bodies and the motorcycle involved in the crash have been recovered and taken to the local police station

A motorcyclist and a pillion passenger have been killed after their two-wheeler was rammed by another vehicle in Tangail’s Kalihati.

The incident occurred near the Salla Kamakkhar intersection on the Dhaka-Tangail Jamuna Bridge Highway around 6:30am on Monday, according to Sub-Inspector Atikur Rahman of the Jamuna Bridge East Police Station.

The names and identities of the dead have yet to be confirmed.

SI Atikur said, “When the incident was reported, we recovered the bodies and the motorcycle involved in the crash and took them to the police station.”

“We are not immediately sure what other vehicle was involved in the accident. We are trying to find the names and identities of the dead.”
