The government is soliciting opinions from the public and stakeholders to make revisions to the national pay scale that are widely acceptable.

A panel formed to review the existing structure has prepared four separate questionnaires to gather opinions online with the aim of making recommendations for a fair and effective pay structure, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.

“Four questionnaires have been prepared in the four categories of government employees, the general public, government institutions, and associations or societies. Anyone concerned is free to submit their opinion. The questionnaires will be available for opinions on the commission’s website from the 1st of October to the 15th of October.”

All the questionnaires are available at paycommission2025.gov.bd.

Interested government employees, individuals, government institutions or societies can fill out the questionnaires online until Oct 15.

“If members of any association or society wish to meet with the commission, they must complete the questionnaires under the categories prescribed for associations and societies.
