Petition to show Mamun Khaled, Masud Uddin Chowdhury arrested at tribunal

The prosecution has petitioned the International Crimes Tribunal to show retired Army officials Masud Uddin Chowdhury and Mamun Khaled arrested in cases over genocide during the July Uprising and enforced disappearances.

The petition was submitted to Tribunal-2 on Tuesday, according to Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim.

Retired lieutenant general Mamun Khaled is accused over enforced disappearances while retired lieutenant general Masud Uddin Chowdhury has been accused of genocide over incidents during the July Uprising in 2024.
