Army chief Gen Waker returns home from trip to Czechia, Slovakia

Bangladesh Army chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman has returned home from the Czech Republic and Slovakia on a five-day official visit.

He returned home on Friday morning, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the visit, the Army chief met key defence officials in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral defence relations and cooperation, the ISPR said.

He also visited various military institutions and defence industrial establishments.

The army chief departed Dhaka for the 5-day visit on Jun 28.
