Government unveils three government Hajj packages

The government has announced the Hajj packages for the upcoming season, cutting airfare by around Tk 13,000 per pilgrim.

Religious Affairs Advisor AFM Khalid Hossain unveiled three government Hajj packages on Sunday at the Secretariat.

He said: “For Hajj in 2026, since the final calculation of mandatory expenses in Saudi Arabia has not yet been received, the packages have been prepared based on last year’s cost structure and projected expenses.

“If the Saudi government later increases or decreases costs in any category, the package price will be adjusted accordingly.

If the cost rises, pilgrims will be required to pay the difference; if it falls, the surplus will be refunded,” he added.
