Parked cover van set on fire in Mymensingh

“Such incidents are occurring due to the verdict in the case against the fascist Sheikh Hasina,” a police official says

A covered van has been set on fire in the Akua Bypass area of Mymensingh city.

The incident occurred around midnight on Saturday, according to Muhammad Shibirul Islam, chief of Mymensingh Kotwali Model Police Station.

He said, “The driver of the covered van parked it next to the road around 8pm on Saturday and went home.”

“Saboteurs set fire to it and burnt it. Locals tried to put the fire out, but to no avail.”

OC Shibirul said, “Such incidents are occurring due to the verdict in the case against the fascist Sheikh Hasina. The criminals will be brought to justice.”
