The road from Dhaka’s Gabtoli to Nabinagar via Amin Bazar and Savar is set to be closed to traffic for five hours on Mar 26.

Vehicles will be barred from using the road from 3am to 8am on Wednesday as state dignitaries will be travelling to the National Memorial in Savar to commemorate Independence Day, the Press Information Department said in a statement on Tuesday.

Vehicles can use the alternative routes of Mirpur Shrine-Beribandh to Dhaur-Ashulia-Bipile and Uttara-Abdullahpur-Tongi-Gazipur-Chandra during that time, it added.
