A Dhaka University bus has been involved in an accident after a tyre burst in Dhaka’s Moghbazar.
Several students were injured in the incident, which occurred around 8am on Wednesday, said Assistant Proctor Rafiqul Islam.
He told bdnews24.com, "On the way from Uttara, a tyre on a bus exploded in Moghbazar and it collided with another bus. Seven to eight students were injured."
“By Allah’s mercy, it wasn’t a big accident. One of the injured is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital while others went to different hospitals. There was no major damage.”
The assistant proctor said that one female student received a leg injury, but an X-ray report showed she had no fracture.
