Army chief pays farewell visit, chief advisor thanks him for cooperation

Chief Advisor Yunus thanks Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman for the military's support during the national parliamentary election

Bangladesh's Chief of Army Staff Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman has paid a farewell visit to Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus.

The chief advisor has thanked the army chief for the cooperation of the armed forces during the general election.

The courtesy meeting was held at the Chief Advisor’s Office in Tejgaon on Monday, according to a press statement from the office.

They exchanged greetings and briefly discussed several issues during their tenure, the statement said.

It was also said that the chief advisor expressed gratitude to the army chief for the military’s support, especially, during the national parliamentary election.
