The government has revised the honorarium and remuneration rates for staff involved in recruitment and promotion activities under ministries, divisions, directorates, and departments.

A circular issued by the Ministry of Finance on Monday announced the changes, which take immediate effect.

According to the new rates, Tk 6,000 has been set per person for preparing question papers.

Members of departmental selection or promotion committees will also receive Tk 6,000 each per meeting, while members or experts of oral or practical examination boards will receive Tk 6,000 per day.

For script evaluation, Tk 130 will be paid per full written answer script, and Tk 35 for each full objective-type script.

Refreshment expenses for written, practical, or oral examinations, including lunch or dinner when required, have been fixed at Tk 500 per person, while the breakfast allowance remains unchanged.

Staff conducting written, practical, or oral exams will receive Tk 1,200 per day if they are in grade 9 or above, Tk 1,000 for grades 10-16, and Tk 800 for grades 17-20.

Evaluators will receive Tk 50 per script, and the head of the examination venue or a coordinator nominated by them will receive Tk 3,500.

The centre invigilator for written examinations will receive Tk 1,800 per day, while miscellaneous expenses have been capped at Tk 8,000.
