Family of 7 that perished in Noakhali car crash buried together

The family returning home from the airport with expat relative when the microbus crashed

Seven members of the same family have been buried after they died in a microbus crash in Begumganj, Noakhali.

The funeral prayers were held on Wednesday afternoon following the Asr prayer, and the victims were buried together at a graveyard in Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila.

The dead have been identified as Ms Poizunnesa, 80, Khurshida Begum, 55, Kabita Begum, 30, Labani Begum, 30, Reshmi, 10, Mim, 2, and Lamia, 9.

The 11-member family was returning home from the airport with their expat relative Bahar Uddin when the microbus veered out of control.
