Justices Mirza Hussain Haider, Md Nizamul Huq and Mohammad Bazlur Rahman have so far been judges at the High Court.

The order was issued on Sunday after an approval from the president, said Law Ministry Secretary Abu Saleh Sheikh Md Zahirul.

Chief Justice SK Sinha will administer the oath at 10am Monday, said an official at the registrar’s office.

The current Appellate Division, chaired by Chief Justice Sinha, has Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah, Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, Justice Md. Imman Ali and Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.

On Mar 28, 2013, four judges were appointed to the Appellate Division. Except Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, the other three have retired.

Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury was the last to do so.

The second most senior judge of the High Court, Mirza Hussain Haider was enrolled as an advocate of the District Court, the High Court Division and the Appellate Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court in the years 1979, 1981 and 1999 respectively.

Born on Mar 1, 1954, Justice Haider obtained LLB (Hons) and LLM from the University of Dhaka.

Justice Md Nizamul Huq, born on Mar 15, 1950, obtained BSc (Hons), MSc and LLB degrees before starting in the law profession.

He was enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court, the High Court Division and the Appellate Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court in 1977, 1979 and 1999 respectively.

He was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court Division in 2001 and appointed Judge of the same Division in 2009.

Justice Huq was also appointed as the Chairman of the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh, Dhaka in 2010.

Justice Mohammad Bazlur Rahman, born on April 12, 1955, has a BJur (Hons), an MJur and an MA from the University of Rajshahi.

He was enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court and the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court in 1984 and in 1987 respectively.
