Qatar Labour Minister Ali bin Saeed meets PM Tarique Rahman

They discuss matters of mutual interest at the meeting, an official says

Qatar’s Labour Minister Ali bin Saeed bin Samikh Al Marri has met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The meeting took place on Sunday at the State Guest House Jamuna, according to Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.

“Matters of mutual interest to the two countries were discussed at the meeting,” he said.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Qatari minister arrived in Dhaka for a two-day state visit focused on manpower export and bilateral cooperation.

He is scheduled to hold meetings with senior officials of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the visit.
