Mirpur-bound bus set on fire in Badda

Police say it remains unclear who torched the bus

Arsonists have set a passenger bus ablaze in Dhaka’s North Badda.

The Mirpur-bound bus of Asim Paribahan was torched around 8:15pm on Sunday.

A bystander said the bus caught fire near AMZ Hospital in North Badda.

Badda Police chief Nasirul Islam said, “It is unclear who set the bus on fire. Police are on their way to the scene.”
