International Crimes Tribunal prosecutors have received the investigation report on four individuals, including Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, in the case linked to alleged crimes against humanity during the July Uprising.

Prosecutor Gazi Monowar Hossain Tamim confirmed the development in the tribunal’s WhatsApp Group on Wednesday.

The report includes findings on former law minister Anisul Huq, former prime minister’s private industry and investment advisor Salman F Rahman, and former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, he added.

Under tribunal procedure, the Investigation Agency completes its inquiry and submits the report to the Office of the Chief Prosecutor. The prosecution then files formal charges before the tribunal, which decides on framing charges before the trial begins.
