Khaleda virtually greets BNP leaders on Eid

Tarique Rahman was also with her in the virtual greeting ceremony from London

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with the party's Standing Committee members, central, and affiliated organisations' leaders.

She joined the virtual meeting from London at 9pm on Monday to greet the leaders gathered at the BNP Chairperson’s Office in Dhaka’s Gulshan.

BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Standing Committee member AZM Zahid Hossain also appeared on screen alongside her.

Tarique greeted the party leaders while BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir extended Eid wishes to Khaleda on behalf of the leaders.

The event was attended by Standing Committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, and Selima Rahman.

Other senior leaders, including vice-chairmen, advisors, and joint secretaries, were also present.

Khaleda’s personal physicians Shahabuddin Talukder and FM Siddiqui, also joined the greeting ceremony.

A special munajat, or supplication, was held for her swift recovery.
