Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar to arrange special flight to bring stranded nationals home

The Bangladesh Embassy in Doha is working to arrange a special flight to bring stranded Bangladeshi nationals in Qatar back to Dhaka amid the ongoing conflict situation in the Gulf region.

In an urgent advisory issued on Wednesday, the embassy said it is in contact with the government of Qatar and Qatar Airways to facilitate the travel of Bangladeshi passengers who have been unable to return home.

Families, particularly children, women, and elderly members of the Bangladeshi community, will be given priority on the special flight, the embassy said.

To prepare a list of passengers interested in travelling, the embassy has shared a Google Form link on its official Facebook page and other social media platforms.

Bangladeshi nationals stranded in Qatar have been requested to submit their applications through the form as soon as possible to avail themselves of the special flight to Dhaka.
