Three farmworkers die in Mymensingh road accident
A covered van has hit four men in Sadar Upazila of Mymensingh, leaving three of them dead.

Zakir Hossain, 30, Abdul Khalek, 28, and Shahid, 30, died in the accident that took place on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway at Jamtala around 7:15am on Thursday, said Abdur Rahman, senior station officer of the local fire service.
Four men, who were farmworkers, were walking toward Mymensingh while a covered van hit them from behind, said Rahman citing the locals.
Zakir and Khalek died on the scene while Shahid died while receiving treatment at the hospital, he said.
Another injured man yet to be identified has been admitted to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Local residents blocked the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway about half an hour protesting the deaths, Rahman said.
