Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached Santiniketan to attend the convocation of Visva-Bharati University and inaugurate the Bangladesh Building.

The ceremony is attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On Friday morning, Sheikh Hasina reached Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at 9:25 am (local time in Kolkata) on a VVIP flight of Bangladesh Biman.
Upon arrival at Santiniketan by a helicopter, Visva-Bharati's Vice-Chancellor Professor Sabuj Koli Sen greeted her.
The university has been decorated with various colours in the Amarkunjana of Santiniketan surrounding the convocation. The security has been tightened in the area.
