The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Rupchan Ali, a resident of Joyrampur village in Mymensingh’s
Muktagacha Upazila.
His body was spotted on a road in the Sluice Gate area on Saturday night, said Abdur Razzak, inspector of West Uttara Police Station.
He told bdnews24.com that several stab injuries were found on the victim’s torso.
“Ali was a tenant at a home owned by Nur Isla on Fulbaria Rd 1 in Uttara Sector-10 and worked at a home in Uttara Sector-13,” Razzak said.
The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
