Pick-up van hits motorbike killing one in Feni

A man died while another was injured after a pick-up van hit their motorbike at Sonagazi Upazila in Feni.

The incident took place in an area close to the Satbaria bridge on Sunday night, said Sonagazi OC Moazzem Hossain.  

The deceased was identified as 38-year-old Md Ibrahim Khalil. The injured, Jahidul Islam Didar, 35, was admitted to the Feni Sadar Hospital.

“Khalil and Didar were on their way to Feni town from Sonagazi on a motorbike. A pickup van rammed into the motorbike from the opposite direction leaving them injured,” the OC said.

“Locals rushed them to hospital where doctors declared Ibrahim dead.”
