Fire guts 26 homes in Gazipur, no casualties reported
A fire sparked from a leaking gas cylinder has gutted 26 homes in Gazipur, says the fire service.

The incident was reported from Kaliakair Upazila’s Purbachandra around 6am on Sunday, said Md Kabirul Alam of Kaliakair Fire Station.
It took two fire-fighting units almost two hours to put out the flames, he told bdnews24.com.
“The fire spread to 26 adjacent houses and burnt the goods stored in there. We suspect it started from a leaking cooking-gas cylinder,” said Alam adding no casualties were reported.
