Senior academic Dr Anisuzzaman's suggestion is to cancel tests marred by question leaks.
Government Laboratory School and College Principal Md Abdul Khaleque thinks the question papers can be sent to the centres through the internet for printing just before the exams are to begin.
"This will leave no scope of leaking question papers while those are being carried or after being opened at the centres," he said.
He also suggested making district-wise question papers to stop widespread leaks.
The teacher demanded tough punishment fot those responsible for leaking question papers.
Prof Mohammad Kaykobad, who teaches computer science at BUET and has worked as a government consultant in stopping question paper leaks, spoke to bdnews24.com about the suggestion of printing question papers at the centres.
He said the authorities could set up a 'strong room' at the centres to receive and print the question papers.
"No one will be allowed to leave the room after they enter it. They will have no device to communicate with anyone outside the room. There will be CCTV cameras," he said.
He said the stakeholders could sit and fix the time and other issues.
"There had been question leaks earlier, but not at this scale. Now leaked question papers are circulated free on the social media," he said.
Principal Salehin fears the practice of leaking question papers would lead to moral lapse of the students in the future.
He also suggested reducing the number of public examinations to two -- SSC and HSC -- like before to ensure quality. "How can we monitor so many examinations?" he asked.
"This has to stop at any cost. Everyone is getting harmed," he said.
Monipur High School and College Principal Md Farhad Hossain said the private coaching centres involved in leaking question papers should face punishment.
He demanded that authorities act swiftly to stop this unethical practice.
