Rangpur Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman told bdnews24.com that the law enforcers made the new arrests on Sunday.
"Most of them are activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and (its student front) Islami Chhatra Shibir," he said.
The 100 people arrested in two days were produced before a court that sent them to jail pending trial, the SP said.
