Bogra March 12 (BDNEWS) – The Bogra Airfield was inaugurated through a colourful function here Saturday.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Fakrul Azam opened the airfield. BNP senior joint secretary general and president of Bogra Development Committee Tareq Rahman was present as special guest.
Local MPs and political leaders were also present at the programme.
The air chief in his speech said the airfield would play an important role in ensuring over all security of the country.
He said the operational flying from the airfield would help develop the area, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, education and environment.
