Netrokona, July 16 (BDNEWS) – The first death anniversary of Abdul Momin, an organiser of the War of Liberation, former food minister and Awami League (AL) presidium member was observed Saturday at his ancestral home at Kazihati in Mohanganj of Netrokona.
On the occasion district AL and the front organisations held Qurankhani, Milad Mahfil, a discussion meeting and a programme to feed the destitute.
Presided over by upazila AL president Abdul Quddus Azad, the meeting was addressed, among others, by central leader Shafi Ahmed and municipal chairman Shahid Iqbal.
