A court has sentenced three people to death over two separate murders in Chuadanga’s Alamdanga and Jibannagar Upazilas.
District and Sessions Judge Md Akbar Ali Sheikh delivered the verdicts separately in the presence of the accused on Wednesday, according to Public Prosecutor Maruf Sarowar.
Those sentenced are Swadhin Ali, 34, from Bamangar village in Alamdanga, Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq alias Badsha, 24, from Farmpara in Chuadanga town, and in the other case, Jamir Uddin, 45, from Jibannagar Upazila.
