Dhaka, June 29 (bdnews24.com)—The government has promoted 10 civil servants to the rank of secretary, according to a circular of the establishment ministry.
All 10 were serving as acting secretary or in equivalent positions.
The new secretaries are:
1. Ashraful Mokbul, acting chairman of the Land Appeal Board.
2. AT M Fazlul Karim, acting secretary of Rural Development and Cooperatives Division.
3. Mosleh Uddin, acting land secretary.
4. Mohammad Ayub Miah, acting water resources secretary.
5. Md Sharful Alam, acting cultural affairs secretary.
6. Iqbal Mahmood, acting telecoms secretary.
7. Syed Naqib Muslim, acting Tariff Commission chairman.
8. CQK Mustaq Ahmed, acting secretary at the Bridges Division.
9. Molla Waheeduzzaman, acting food secretary.
10. Jamil Osman, acting information secretary.
A government announcement said Sunday evening the newly promoted secretaries would continue to serve in the same ministries or departments.
