An IndiGo flight from New Delhi has been briefly stranded at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport after a pilot noticed a “fox”.
An airport official said the flight paused for nearly a minute on Wednesday.
The airport’s Executive Director SM Ragib Samad, however, said he was unaware of the incident.
Despite attesting to wildlife presence at the airport, Samad said he had yet to receive any reports involving a fox.
The pilot of India's largest airline, who claimed to have seen the fox, sought help from the airport’s control tower while heading from the taxiway to the terminal.
Subsequently, airport crew stationed at the tower went to the scene, but found no fox there.
A few minutes later, the plane resumed its journey towards the terminal.
The whole scene was recorded by a “plane spotter”.
A video of the plane briefly pausing its journey was posted on a Facebook page called “Royal Bengal Aviation” on Friday night.
The conversation between the IndiGo aircraft cockpit and the control tower can also be heard in the video.
