Group art exhibition “Untold Story”, curated by artist Fareha Zeba, has opened at La Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka.
The exhibition brings together artists’ books and contemporary artworks to explore memory, identity, heritage, loss, aspirations and lived experience.
Sheltech Group and Envoy Legacy Managing Director Tanvir Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition on Sept 1, 2026. Frédéric Inza, the head of mission at the Embassy of France in Bangladesh, attended the opening ceremony as a distinguished guest.
“Through painting, drawing, collage, embroidery, textiles, collected objects and experimental books, the exhibition gives form to stories that are often personal, fragmented or left unspoken,” Sheltech said in a press release.
“At the heart of the exhibition is the artist’s book, presented as an independent artistic space through which memories and personal histories can be preserved, reconstructed and reinterpreted.”
Participating artists include Esha Ahmed, Fouzia Mahin Choudhury, Kazmin Samia, Shulekha Chaudhury, Sumana Akter, and Surovi Akter, alongside guest artists Alia Kamal, Arpita Singha, Mahmuda Siddika, Rafia Mahjabeen, Rituparna Saha and Venessa Kaiser.
The exhibition remains open to visitors until Sept 9.
