Ralph Lauren has returned to Milan Fashion Week after more than 20 years, presenting its Fall/Winter 2026 menswear collections at the historic Palazzo Ralph Lauren in the Italian city.
The runway show brought together two of the brand’s key lines -- Polo and Purple Label -- in a single presentation.
Polo, known for its sportier, preppy heritage, led the programme, followed by the more refined and tailored pieces of Purple Label.
Designers and fashion commentators said the line up reflected Ralph Lauren’s desire to connect classic American style with a younger, global audience.
The Polo segment featured rugby shirt stripes, oversized knits, relaxed tailoring and layered looks, while Purple Label offered cashmere overcoats, velvet blazers and sharply cut suiting
Front row seats were filled with celebrities and cultural figures, underlining the show’s wide appeal. Actors including Colman Domingo, Liam Hemsworth and Noah Schnapp, as well as musician Nick Jonas, attended the event, taking in the mix of heritage and contemporary design.
K pop star Mark Lee, who has served as an ambassador for Polo Ralph Lauren, was among those photographed outside the venue, where fashion fans and influencers gathered and shared street style images on social platforms such as Instagram and X.
Actor Henry Golding told CNN at the show, “Watching the Ralph Lauren show I was writing my mental shopping list… for me, Ralph does something no-one else does, which is dressing down luxury in a way that is tasteful.”
Critics noted the collection offered a broad stylistic range, from tailored evening wear and layered outerwear to casual pieces that drew on classic workwear and collegiate influences.
In notes shared during the event, Ralph Lauren wrote that his work grew out of a belief in timeless tradition and individual expression, and that the new collection was inspired by “the different ways men live, their individuality and personal style”.
The timing of the show was meaningful for the brand, which was preparing to outfit Team USA for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina.
Ralph Lauren’s ongoing role at major sporting events, including past Olympic Games and international championships, reinforced its presence on a global stage.
