Priyanka Chopra Jonas and BLACKPINK’s Lisa have captured the global spotlight at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, delivering a rare and celebrated intersection of Bollywood and K-pop.

Appearing as presenters at the ceremony in Beverly Hills, the duo drew thunderous applause even before announcing the nominees for Best Actor in a TV Series – Drama.

Radiant and poised, the two stars graced the stage hand in hand, the Hindustan Times reported.

Observers also noted the pair sharing moments of levity backstage, laughing and chatting warmly ahead of their joint appearance.

Host Nikki Glaser introduced them with a witty one-liner: “One was in ‘The White Lotus’, and one wed the white Nick Jonas,” which drew laughter from the audience as Priyanka and Lisa smiled while walking out.

While the Indian actor is a veteran of the event, having previously presented in 2017, the night served as a significant milestone for Lisa. The K-pop star recently made her acting debut in the 2025 season of HBO’s The White Lotus.

On stage, Priyanka expressed her honour at presenting the category, while Lisa praised the calibre of the nominees, which included Sterling K Brown, Diego Luna, Gary Oldman, Mark Ruffalo, and Adam Scott.

Earlier, the India-based daily said Priyanka made a striking impression on the red carpet alongside her husband, Nick Jonas.

The actor donned a custom Dior Haute Couture gown by Jonathan Anderson, complemented by Bvlgari jewellery. A particular moment involving Nick Jonas fixing his wife’s hair before the cameras has since gone viral online.

Through her role as a presenter and her high-profile appearance, Priyanka ensured a prominent Indian presence at the ceremony.

Her interaction with Lisa underscored the growing trend of Hollywood award shows serving as a nexus for international stars from different industries.
