PDP joins Jukta Front

The Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi-led Progressive Democratic Party has joined the recently formed electoral alliance of Jatiya Jukta Front. "We'll contest in the polls together to build a stronger "third trend" in the national politics," said Qureshi, at a gathering to mark the occasion at PDP's Shegunbagicha office Sunday.

Dhaka, Nov 30 (bdnews24.com) – The Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi-led Progressive Democratic Party has joined the recently formed electoral alliance of Jatiya Jukta Front.
"We'll contest in the polls together to build a stronger "third trend" in the national politics," said Qureshi, at a gathering to mark the occasion at PDP's Shegunbagicha office Sunday.
The PDP chief said Jukta Front had called for a change in politics, and the PDP believed in the same which was wny his party joined the alliance.
Jukta Front, with Bikalpadhara Bangladesh, Gano Forum, Bangladesh Kalyan Party and other lesser-known parties, came into being on Nov. 18.
Bikalpadhara chief AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury said failure in leadership had led the country into the current situation, adding that wise and patriotic people must come forward to ensure the country's development.
