Sonargaon lychees hit the market

Red lychees hang in bunches from the green trees of the Sonargaon gardens in Narayanganj. Traders are selling them at market before they are fully ripe in hopes of getting a higher price. Garden owners say that the yield this time has not been as high as expected due to drought and storms.
