Qatar air ambulance reaches at night to fly Khaleda to London, says Fakhrul

He says the BNP has completed all the necessary preparations for the move

The special air ambulance provided by the Emir of Qatar will arrive in Dhaka at night to fly BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to London for advanced medical care.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the development at a press briefing at the chairperson’s Gulshan office on Thursday.

He said, “You have already heard that the Emir of Qatar, on his own initiative and generosity, has provided us with a highly advanced air ambulance.

“It will arrive at night, and very early [Friday], the nation’s leader will be flown to the United Kingdom.”

All necessary preparations have been completed and a medical team will accompany Khaleda on the journey, he added.
