BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has launched a party programme to distribute clothing and dry food among underprivileged people in Dhaka on the occasion of the death anniversary of the party's founder, Ziaur Rahman.
After laying a floral wreath at Ziaur Rahman’s grave at 11:00am, he inaugurated the clothing distribution programme for the poor at the T&T Ground on Manik Mia Avenue at 11:25am. The BNP chairman and prime minister personally distributed some of the relief items before proceeding to the next venue.
Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Dhaka North BNP Convener Aminul Haque, North City Administrator Shafiqul Alam Milton, and other party leaders were present at that time.
He went to the T&T College Ground on Manik Mia Avenue, where he distributed clothing and food items among underprivileged people.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman would participate in the distribution of clothing and dry food at 17 locations for disadvantaged people.
Dhaka North
The programme began at 11:00am in Chandrima Udyan and continued through the following locations: T&T College Ground, Shyamoli Square, Government Bangla College, Opposite Ayurvedic College, Near Pallabi Metro Station, ECB Chattar, Kuril Bishwa Road Bus Stand, and Fuji Trade Centre.
The programme in Dhaka North is scheduled to conclude at 3:00pm at the Fuji Trade Centre.
Dhaka South
The programme locations in Dhaka South include: Talatala Jor Pukur Playground, Malibagh, in front of Mirza Abbas’s residence in Shahjahanpur, in front of the BNP Central Office in Naya Paltan, in front of the Jubo Dal office in Banglabazar Dholaikhal Link Road, Jatrabari intersection on Shaheed Faruk Road, Jurain Rail Gate and bus stand on Satmasjid Road.
The programme will conclude at the final venue on Satmasjid Road.
