They spent around an hour with the BNP chairperson at the old jailhouse on Nazimuddin Road in Dhaka from 4pm on Friday.
Those who met her are her sister Selima Islam, brother Shamim Eskander and his wife Fatima Kanij, their sons Avik Eskander and Anik Eskander, and Khaleda’s nephew Muhammad Mamun.
They declined to speak to journalists waiting outside the jail.
Khaleda has been in jail since Feb 8 after a court sentenced her to five years in prison for corruption in Zia Orphanage Trust.
