Police personnel from Kafrul station raided the flat on a third floor of a building at East Shewrapara on Saturday afternoon following a tip off that the Jamaat men gathered there, Inspector Aslam Uddin told bdnews24.com.
Aslam said six to seven of the arrested people were members of the organisation’s central and local leadership.
He said police would take them to court on Sunday.
He also said the law enforcers carried out drives at different places following information given by the arrested Jamaat men, but did not find anyone.
